Although Nassau was visited in 1992, looking back at the pictures surely prompts memories and certain events that, despite 27 years have passed, still seem like yesterday. My passion for travel started the minute I was hired at Delta Air Lines and since then I’ve been extremely lucky in traveling the world.  February 1992, just recently married, my wife and I decided to visit Bahamas.

Although a short weekend trip, we managed to pack the most sightseeing possible.  The Coral World was on top of our list and watching the sharks swirl in continuous circles bestowed fear in swimming their waters. Some feeding frenzy displays along with more calm turtle watching made the day pass quickly.

Hopping on a boat, we then visit Paradise Island. We venture around the island only to retreat back at the Carnival Crystal Palace Resort & Casino  for our last night.  Although we expected the temperature to be warmer, we were able to spend some time by both the pool side and beaches.

I knew then that my passion for traveling would only amplify as the more destinations I would visit……….the next one was only a short thought away.
